Beware of imposters offering low quality, substandard cement and terrazzo tiles at discounted prices on the internet.
- The majority shops are distributors/resellers of tiles. They are NOT THE MANUFACTURER.
- These sellers have NO CONTROL over the tiles that are delivered to your home or business. Often they do not even take possession of the tile before it is delivered to you.
- In most cases, the resellers and distributors NO KNOWLEDGE of the arduous process that is behind designing, developing and creating exquisite cement and terrazzo tile and cannot property advise you for a successful installation.
At Desire, we are the manufacturer. We have complete control over all aspects of the manufacturing of the tile. We only use the finest quality input and have developed closely guarded formulas to make exceptional tile.

- LESS DURABLE
Frequently, as cost cutting measure less reputable manufacturers of cement and terrazzo tiles use low quality cement and pigments. The result, the tile will have color variations, fading, chipping & weakness. These tiles cannot be effectively sealed and will stain.
- LOW QUALITY
Manufacturers also cut corners on the manufacturing process. This results in blurry patterns, crooked lines and varying tile thickness and shapes. Although this has be marketed as necessitated from the "hand-made process," in reality it is just poor-quality manufacturing in an effort to reduce cost. This will result in increased cost to you in installation for the tile, sealing of the tile and reduced enjoyment of the tile.
- HIGHER COST INSTALLATION
Most manufacturers do not employ a strict quality control procedure which checks the tiles for uniform patterns, shapes and thickness. Desire checks all its production,

THE TESTING
When in doubt, asked for tile testing reports. These reports should be based on uniform standards and performed by an independent testing firm.
